Sparing an Enviable Reputation

Henk and Carmel Pasma started from humble beginnings and with an enviable reputation for service in 1977, and then moved north for a “climate change” to Cairns in 1995, where Pasma Electrical was reborn to the successful business it is today. In the early days, the business was primarily involved in the heavy industrial, commercial, mining, security and construction industries, working on projects such as water and sewerage plants, power stations, mining, rail and public infrastructure, prisons, armament factories as well as major shopping centres.

Over the subsequent years, Pasma Electrical has also established an enviable reputation as a specialist electrical service provider and corrosion prevention expert for the maritime industry throughout the South Pacific. The expansion into off-grid solar power and renewable energy services for remote and rural property owners was a natural progression.:

A Family Approach to Business

At Pasma Electrical, we’re a highly capable and professional service provider with strong family values.

Henk and Carmel have been joined by their oldest daughter, Carlie, who manages day-to-day operations and is at the face of the office and the go-to person.

Their youngest daughter, Lauren, is the leading most technical member of the business.

Ben, now also a family member ensures it is done right the 1st. time with his US Naval experience.

Thus futureproofing the business into the next generation.
